Tasting Uncommon Grapes
Do you know that there are 10 000 over varieties of grapes in the World? Are you tired of drinking the usual suspects like Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet and Pinot Noir?
In this workshop, we will learn about some other wines outside of the standard variety. Get to taste some obscure wines made from varieties not readily available in your local wine shops. Each wine has been carefully selected and sourced directly from the vineyards. Each has a particular history and story waiting to be uncovered.
• Taste five wines
• Learn the basics of analyzing wine.
• Learn the history of the grapes
• Learn the story behind the producers
The workshop will be presented by Shalom Chin. He holds a Wine Spirit Education Trust Diploma, a Masters in Gastronomy from the University of Gastronomic Science and is a Certified Sommelier.
